Terms & Condition's 1. Subscription Types & Commitments Monthly Subscriptions: Minimum commitment is one calendar month. After the first month, you may cancel at any time by giving written notice before your next billing date. Annual Subscriptions: Commitment is for one full calendar year from the date of purchase. Annual subscriptions are offered at a reduced rate compared to monthly subscriptions. Early cancellation is not permitted. 

2. Payment & Invoices All subscription fees are payable in advance. Payments are processed securely via our website at the point of order. Invoices and payment records are accessible through your account login created at the time of subscription. For security reasons, Dark Enchantment cannot access or retrieve these details on your behalf. 


3. Directory Listings Directory listings are created and managed by the Dark Enchantment team to maintain consistency with our brand values and presentation standards. It is the supplier’s responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date information and web-optimised imagery (maximum file sizes suitable for online use). Where images or information are not supplied, are unsuitable for our platform, or do not meet technical requirements, the listing cannot go live until corrected content is provided. Failure to provide suitable content does not entitle the supplier to a refund, as administrative work and listing creation begin immediately upon subscription. Direct self-editing of listings is not available. Updates or changes may be requested at any time by contacting us.

4. Refunds & Cancellations, Monthly Subscriptions: Fees already paid are non-refundable. If cancelled, service will continue until the end of the paid month. Annual Subscriptions: Fees are non-refundable once payment has been made. Cancellation can only take effect at the end of the subscription year. Cooling-off Period: In accordance with UK consumer law, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. However, by signing up you agree that we may begin work immediately on your listing. Once work has started on your listing or associated promotional activity, the service is considered to have been provided and the right to cancel within the 14-day period no longer applies. General: Refunds will not be issued for change of mind, lack of use, or dissatisfaction with promotion. This does not affect your statutory rights.

5. Fair Promotion Dark Enchantment promotes all directory listings and events across multiple platforms, including but not limited to social media, paid marketing, and partner collaborations. Promotion levels may vary depending on scheduling, algorithms, and audience engagement. Visibility cannot be guaranteed to each individual subscriber. 

6. Termination by Dark Enchantment Dark Enchantment reserves the right to suspend or remove a listing without refund in cases of: Breach of these Terms, Conduct deemed damaging to the reputation of Dark Enchantment, Misuse of the platform or abusive communication towards staff or other suppliers. 

7. Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.Throughout the process, the supplier’s conduct has been marked by delays, shifting of responsibility, and attempts to reshape the narrative in her favour. While initially admitting to difficulties in providing suitable images, she later claimed not to understand what “web sized” meant, a standard industry term that any professional photographer would be expected to know. She further attempted to frame the platform’s alternative only ethos as “exclusion” when in reality, this was clearly outlined before sign up and consistently communicated afterwards.
